What are Probiotics?

Probiotics is a generic term that is used to refer to living microorganisms that have a beneficial effect on life.

These include bacteria, fungi and yeasts. People have used these microorganisms for a very long time, for example for the production of food products such as yogurt, cheese, wine, beer, etc.

It is only very recently that people have become interested in these probiotics for cleaning, descaling, odor control and degreasing. Since the 90s, Pollet has been one of the pioneers who became interested in the benefits of probiotics, so they decided to develop their biotechnological product line PolBio.

Our expertise lies in selecting the right bacteria from nature and putting them in the ideal conditions, so that they can digest the dirt in an uninterrupted manner, i.e. as long as there is dirt, the bacteria will reproduce and digest it.

Here is a diagram that summarizes the natural cycle of probiotic cleaning:

Probiotics that protect

But Pollet didn’t stop there! We took our research one step further and in 2019, we launched our new concept “Probiotics that protect”.

In fact, 21st century cleaning should not only make surfaces cleaner, it should also make the environment healthier. And that is what we have achieved by developing the PolVita selection.

PolVita is the result of 3 years of scientific research, which has allowed us to select those bacteria in nature that have unique probiotic properties.

These unique bacteria not only provide continuous cleaning and eliminate bad odors, they also cover the surfaces and create a protective natural microflora.

One simple cleaning can therefore improve your environment and promote well-being. This technology is patented and the products are 100% ecological and risk-free for the user.
