Pollet wishes you happy holidays
As the year draws to a close, the entire Pollet team would like to thank you from the bottom of its heart for your trust and loyalty. The year 2023 has seen its share of exciting projects. And with your support, we are looking forward to reaching new heights in 2024. That is why we are delighted to share with you a few key moments from the past year.
Let's look back to 2023
This year has got off to a flying start at Pollet with the consolidation of our sales team. Two sales managers have been appointed and an international area manager position has been created to continue to develop our existing markets while strengthening our partnerships across nearly 18 countries.
In the meantime, Pollet has been selected to join the “Scale-Up” programme, a development aid programme for Walloon companies with high growth potential. Thanks to this programme, in addition to our in-house teams, we benefit from the support of experts so that we can continue to provide you with optimum support while developing new markets.
On 23 March 2023, Pollet celebrated its 260th anniversary. In 1763, Pollet’s ancestor took the oath of mastery to develop his business in the saline sector, oil and fat derivatives for lighting and soap, among others. Since then, Pollet has innovated and reinvented itself to become a recognised specialist in detergents and probiotics.
We continued to develop this expertise in 2023 through microbiology research carried out by our R&D laboratory. Our team has also expanded, with the creation of a new job position to accelerate our capacity for innovation and prepare you for the full range of new products in the year ahead.
Plenty of plans for 2024
The coming year will also bring a host of new projects:
- Our range of disinfection solutions will continue to evolve to comply with the new BPR regulations. More information in early 2024.
- Once again this year, you’ll find us at Interclean Amsterdam from 14 to 17 May 2024. Save the date in your diary to catch up on all the latest with Pollet.
- And to continue to meet our customers’ growing needs for cleaning products, we are working on expanding our factory in Tournai.
