Supporting the victims of the floods
In order to help the flood victims, Pollet and Vikan have joined forces to donate cleaning equipment to the Belgian Red Cross.
Since July 13, 2021, Belgium is facing numerous floods throughout the country. The human toll of this natural disaster is terrible: 41 people have died, and several people are still missing.
The heavy rains that we are currently experiencing also continue to cause significant material damage: in addition to the streets that must be cleared, many houses and other buildings have been affected by water and mudslides. The mutual aid is organized, but it must also face a lack of material resources.
To support the victims, Pollet and its partner Vikan have decided to donate cleaning equipment and products to the Belgian Red Cross. The organization will thus be able to collect:
- 50 graduated buckets of 12L with spout
- 50 floor scrapers with aluminium handles
- 50 shovels with straight handles
- 100 street brooms with wooden handles
- 20 buckets of 6L
- 15 buckets of 25L
- 6 pallets of EchoClean Dégraissant detergents
